No Map ingame ?
Hello all, maybe i'm distracted and missed some lines where they explain how to toggle on map in this game but as far as i inspected all options i was unable to find any so to be sure i wanted to ask to community, is there in this game any option to toggle on any sort of map or mini map to see where i have to go or like i "FEAR" ^^ there is no indication a part your own nose ? :) thanks.

Thanks, so is like i noticed, i just asked in the hope i missed something but that's it, well sometime is a little annoying cause i confuse and return back in my steps, modern games have generally a map or minimap that i think is very useful but ok, will continue with my nose as radar , thanks ^^

This game is old school, it doesn't hold your hand and show you the way to every solution and lets you work things out for yourself.

Well, in this game it's usually pretty straight forward, but if you don't find it so, remember that getting lost in a video game is half the fun of exploring.
Also, most modern games don't have a minimap. Just letting you know.

In this game you do not need map... Use your brain, if you have any.

Hey guys, calm down, i was just asking a simple question, i already have completed the game without map and without walktrough in 3-4 days (expansions included) so don't worry, my brain and skills works very well, but you have to accept if someone has a different opinion to yours, i think that a game with a map is ALWAYS better than a game without a map, new school or old school doesn't matter, so learn to respect the others and have fun :)

What was frustrating me wasn't the lack of a map but the thought there might be a map but the map wasn't mapped on my Steam Deck controls. You can actually go mad mapping Steam Deck controls so thanks for asking the question Ron - 6 years later I found it very useful! Btw F.E.A.R is awesome on the deck.
