FPS Possibly Best Fix using Nvidia Control Panel (No Disabling HID)
Hello all,
I have been experimenting with F.E.A.R. in which to try and make the game playable.

Previously: Disabling all "HID-compliant vendor-defined device" from the "Human Interface Devices" in your Device Manager was proven to work successfully but not a desired option.

So I looked at it a different way, thinking about the "Nvidia Control Panel" Under Manage 3D Settinghs, to how it is used to make games work correctly.

Testing the outcome by the in Game Benchmark and playing the game it works everytime with no glitching.

QUICK RUN DOWN:
Nothing has been Disabled.
Everything in the F.E.A.R. Game has been Maxed out to the best setting it can be.

FEEDBACK:
If this works for you and or you have used different settings for your Video Card please leave feedback for others and settings you used.

The only things that needs to be changed are the following options

1. Thread Optimization > (off)

2. Virtical Sync > (Adaptive) This is depending on your Screen if it needs to be on or not in my case it has to be on but I chose Adaptive and it works good.

These Nvidia Options will also work for these add-ons.

F.E.A.R. Extraction Point
F.E.A.R. Perseus Mandate

UPDATE Info
Well after some other trials and errors, I decided to try my original info again as listed above and this is after I had done a Full Clean install of Windows 10 as I have said in my Post below anyway after this test just now it worked well and no Glitching.

Glad to help!
Already had the troublesome HID device figured out and the F.E.A.R. games worked fine with this trick, it seemed to circumvent it. Originally I had alreasdy deactivated the HID device because of Condemned: Criminal Origins which uses the same engine as this game.

BUT the multiplayer standalone F.E.A.R. Combat I downloaded earlier today suffered from terrible performance and very low gpu usage.

I deactivated the "Threaded Optimization".. and guess what?! The FPS got a big boost.

Thank you very much.

Temporarly seemed to work for whatever reason, but after all I still had to disable every single HID device and reboot. I doubt this trick achieves anything really. Useless.

After doing a complete windows 10 Re-installation I thought I would try out my above info again being its a fresh install what better way to test, anyway to make it quick when I did in-game benchmark it all looked good but got to half way in then jerked again.

So Exit game and start again did benchmark again straight away played up again not playable.

So for more testing by me I have just re-install FEAR again now. I have some alternitives to try now.

I will post back to let you all no the outcome. Fingers crossed.

In the Nvidia Control Panel The only things that needs to be changed are the following options

1. Thread Optimization > (off)

2. Virtical Sync > (Adaptive) This is depending on your Screen if it needs to be on or not in my case it has to be on but I chose Adaptive and it works good.

Well for me and my system I am now convinced that this Nvidia Settings are working all the time.

My Logitech Hardware are:

G910 Orion Spark Keyboard
G502 Gaming Mouse
Gamepad 310
