F.E.A.R Borderless/windowed mode

Any way of getting this bad boy to just stay still and not go on FS? Found and 2 year old thread but didn't quite help me. Anyone have any clue? Thanks in advance.

Have you tried the old Alt-Enter key combo to see if that works? Once I set a res, I can usually toggle back and forth with Alt-Enter after that. Haven't tried with this game yet, but it works for so many others..

what i did was put +windowed 1 in the shortcut's target (gog ver) to make the game windowed and use the bg app to force borderless

I saw that post but i can't seem to be able to put that on the shortcut. All it says is steam URL

If you want to run the game through Steam, you need to add the +windowed 1 in Steam. Right click the game in your Steam library. Then properties and in the general tab you see launch options. Here you write +windowed 1.
