F.E.A.R. in 3D Vision mode
Hi gang. Just bought the FEAR collection and installed it on my Win 10 rig. All's well except the original FEAR and the 2 DLC's won't play in 3D Vision mode. FEAR 2 will play in 3D fine, as well as other games, but the first 3 FEARs won't. I have a triple monitor 3D Vision surround setup, and the games played fine in 3D with Win 7. Anyone have any ideas? I am stumped. I suspect it may have something to do with the refresh rate, and I have that set to 120 Hz in Nvidia Control Pannel, but if the native refresh rate in the game won't run at 120, then no 3D.

Granted this is an extremely late reply but I just came across your post. It isn't working for me either. Win10 & GTX 1080's in SLI.

Have you figured out how to get the freaking game to run like it's supposed to in 3D vision yet? I'm stumped.

Have you tried turning your 3D emitter on and off it works fine for me.In my 3D settings in the control panel I set it to always on so any 3D games it always picks them up and turns on the 3D emitter.

That's what is weird because it does work for everything else that doesn't have an option to force it like mafia 2. I don't know why it isn't recognizing it.Thoughts? It's always lit green but doesn't go bright showing it's enabled. Pressing the button doesn't do anything.

Wow dont know what too tell you have you played Fear2 or 3 they both look good in 3D.Fear2 with the reborn dlc looks nice.

Haven't tried 2 yet. I really wanna play the first one in 3D which is why I got the 3D vision kit so that sucks. There's gotta be a work around or something.

Fear is not that great looking in 3D if that helps but 2 is nice dont forget too get the reborn DLC.

True, I did however pickup all the DLC too. It was a sick deal, got all FEAR games on here with all DLC and it was only like $20. It'd be really nice to play it in 3D but hopefully 2 works well in it....it's rated as excellent by nvidia.
