How to NOT dualwield?

Not in this game, no, it's basically a straight upgrade. There's a reason this game is considered to have some of the best dualies ever.

Been a while since I played, but I think it was just a case of not picking up the dual wield guns.

Thought so too, but one gets ammo by picking the weapon :(

There is the button to drop a weapon, which in the base game drops only one pistol, but the downside is I think the second gun takes half your ammo with it. I don't know for sure, I've never went out of my way to use only one pistol since there's really no reason not to use them two at a time.

But doesn't it make the shooting more innacurate? Maybe I'm only unnecessarily conditioned by other games then.

Didnt played this game long time. But when i got a second gun to dualwield simply press B than you drop the other one ^_ ^ Atleast if i remember correctly
