Has anyone tried the AI enhanced texture pack

Ravirez texture mod is really great, it basically makes all the original textures 4K.

But see the mod has a ton of problems:

When loading the next level or basically any save game the limit of 2GB VRAM for textures is back and back with a vengeance, making a lot of the textures not load in.

Is there any fix for this?

Interesting. I'll try it out and report back how it goes for me. I tried to apply a few 4GB patches to the executable but the game simply refuses to start.

The Base version, which is above 5GB, crashes instantly with Out of Memory error.
The Full version (I think author confused names) doesn't crash, but I doubt it does much or anything at all since I haven't noticed any particular improvements in quality. I could be blind though.

Textures look great but a waste of time. The modder needs to do alot more work as every time you load a new level it will ctd

Yup, that's the big problem, every time you load a save game or enter the next level or reload a checkpoint, the textures aren't loading anymore.
