Cant Buy F.E.A.R. 1 Individually?

Wow wow wow let me just get this straight. You made the only purchasable source of the original game in a package that contains all games from the series for $55?

I was lucky enough to be able to purchase this game as well as its expansion packs previously on steam for like $10. Now when i reccomend a friend to get it he has to buy the whole bundle?

As if the developers know for a fact that the second and third game are complete garbage. So you force that hiked price for lesser games just to get the origional F.E.A.R.?

I love this game its one of the best classic fps games ever but the second and third are trash and complete♥♥♥♥♥♥ This is one of the greediest things i have seen in a long time lmao.

You can purchase fear 2 and fear 3 individually for $15+ each but you know people only want to play the first game so you bundle a $5 game with that crap. This is BS practice.

Please allow people to purchase Fear 1 separately because this is basically a scam.

A little late to the party but I had the same problem. I didn't do the fanatical thing because I didn't want to have to register on that website. Just head over to Amazon and buy the game there, and you can activate on steam. I think i bought it for like 10 bucks

I don't get this. I just checked GOG, Greenmangaming and Gamersgate, they all sell FEAR 1 standalone for dirt cheap, GG and GMG even sell Steam keys. I'm guessing everywhere else does as well. So how come Steam seems to be the only place where you can't get a Steam key for FEAR 1 without buying the ludicrously overpriced bundle?

Just buy the Platinum Collection on GOG then. It just contains the first game and expansions.

Alright so I managed to buy everything.

I got literally everything for about €4.50 total. Got them all off a bunch of key sites separately during multiple Christmas sales. Took some stuffing about but I am pretty happy to have everything. F.E.A.R was one of my first shooters (along with Soldier of Fortune II - Double Helix).

No need to fight each other, especially on Christmas.
