SAS Secure Tomorrow
Has anyone played that game? Does anyone know the connection it has with Monolith Productions? I started playing SAS yesterday and it feels pretty dang good. Gunplay is tight, weapons feel nice to shoot and there are even slow-mo segments that feel exactly like FEAR. I'm certain it uses the same game engine, a bit updated though as the graphics are better. It sounds and looks like FEAR. I'm quite surprised at how much I'm enjoying it so far. For an apparently b-grade game, it's good. Not as good as FEAR, but it's definitely enjoyable and worth a try.

It's probably City Interactive's best game. I'm guessing that's because they used the FEAR game engine and had help from Monolith in some way. Has to be more help than just letting them use their game engine.

from what I know the best LOW BUDGET game made by city interactive (before rebranding to CI GAMES) based on monolith engine is Terorist Takedown 3. if you liked SAS (which is generally cr@p) ;) you might check TT3 out. heard its actually pretty decent for what it is but never actually played it. played other fear knockoff's tho ;)

You know what, I actually went through and checked a few of their games out. Their Code of Honor games, SAS and Terrorist Takedown. They're all exactly the same. Same HUD, same gameplay, same everything. Makes me feel incredibly stupid for even thinking SAS was any good. Got stale in a hurry. Can't believe how much they rinsed and repeated their own games and had the nerve to give their games different names..... Haha, man how lame..

its not that lame, man, there games were sold at the price of a medium pizza. they took fear and ripped stuff out of it to make more shooters. so they are good for what they are, but still cr@p ;) back in days city inetractive pooped such games quite regularly. some of them 'so bad that its good' ;)
