It's working for me. Make sure to go into 'Big picture mode' of steam, go to F123, press on controller icon and choose 'Disable steam input'. This will change input to be F123 native, and your controller will be recognized as PS5 with adaptive triggers working. I have tested this as wired only setup, cannot comment about BT.
You made my evening better and solved my problem
The game doesn't care about how you've connected it to the PC. For the Controller you need a bluetooth adapter, just be careful about cheap adapters, as they might be prone to disconnect sometimes.
