ok im a noob but explain this
Why is there a bind for handbrake, i bind it and it does nothing. am i missing something?

theres no handbrake in F1 cars :)

yeah that's kinda why i'm at a loss for why there's a bind literally called "handbrake" in the controls. i know nothing about F1 but i know that much.

Yes, there is. Its a smaller paddle underneath the shift-up paddle. Clutch is the same, on the other side

Its used for un-assisted starts. You hold the handbrake, clutch, and hold the throttle at the bite point. When the lights go out, drop the brake and lean the clutch until you start moving.
