It won't start

Like everything on steam now, it seems to have a problem.
Can someone please help me that has had this not start for them as well?

I also cannot get this start after upgrading from 3090 card to 4060 have reinstalled and validated 3 times. My other games on Steam, Race Room, Grid, Project Cars etc are fine. Need advice or a refund!

This gets really annoying doesn't it? We upgrade computers for NEW software that is so half A$%ED it doesn't even open. I can't wait to see what the future brings. Nah scratch that, I'm done buying new software, I mean crap.

Time for Steam Support to step up, too many of us are having problems with this. Suspect going direct to Codemasters wont helpQ!

Has anyone a solution for this problem?

I bought the Game 3 days ago and couldnt get it to start since then.
I reinstalled 2 times and upgradet all imaginable drivers but it wont work. I think I am getting a refund.

Good luck getting a refund, I asked but because the game was running with a previous graphics card the refund was declined. Reinstalled my old card and now that does not launch. The new card seems to have changed something in the set up and now I cant even go backwards. Thanks for you non-support Steam!

have also checked Firewall settings and both Steam and F1@23 are there and have permission. There seems to be a lot of unhappy people in this discussion and we are being ignored!!

I'm having the same problem. It won't start and I have tried verifying files but nothing is working. It was working recently.

this game really sucks, the game does not start sometimes, i have all the required component to run the game, i have even installed it 3-4 times, still the game does not start.

did you guys tr deleting hardware config file if that helps
it is located in my documents-my game-f1 23
it will reset graphic settings for game if that is problem

the above worked to launch the game but as soon as I upped the settings it froze. Have gone back to my 3090 card where all settings are maxed out and runs perfectly. It does not make sense that a newer card cannot compete with the model before!

OK cool I finally found my post again! For SH(%T$ sake I can't even get back here easily to tell you all what I did to fix it. F@*K STEAM! OK, so like most of you I've got great hardware the game should run, well turns out the drivers for the NVIDIA card were 1 month old....got the new ones it works now. I hope that simple fix helps. I know it's not much, but it worked for me.
