Memory RAM and Paint Selection

The game is consuming RAM excessively, reaching more than 16GB and closing by itself. Also, every time I open the car paint selection, the game crashes and gets stuck on this. I do not know what else to do. I've already reduced graphics, priority in windows, everything.

I have the exact same problem.
The game eats up RAM until it closes itself, and in the paint selection it simply freezes. I've tried many different graphic settings (from "High" to "Very Low"), but nothing has worked so far.

Has anyone found a solution for this?

Windows 10 64bit Version 22H2
CPU: Ryzen 5 2600
GPU: Radeon RX 7600
RAM: 32 GB DDR4-3000

Free space on system drive: 81 GB
Free space on game drive: 1.3 TB

Tried installing the game on SSD and NVMe.
Windows, drivers, firmware and BIOS are all up-to-date.
Happens with XBox Series Controller and G29 wheel.

hmm strange, I only have 5.3 GB of memory in use in the game and zero problems with the paintwork

the game is most likely leaking memory, because I have a similar problem, only I have purely friezes while driving, the game can slow down for half a second

I also have an RX 7600, my game crashes every time I try to open store or go to the F1 World Car Livery customization. I guess that the crash/freeze occurs when the game tries to render these liveries.
I have no idea what to do anymore.

I also have a 7600. I don't know what else to do. Before I could at least play, now I start a race, after about 5 minutes the game closes without warning and nothing.

I managed to fix it after hours and hours. I uninstalled the AMD Adrenalin software and all the GPU drivers, and installed an older Adrenalin version. Now it renders all without any crashes or problems.
The only downside is that this version does not have HYPR-RX, but since I dont use it, no worries.
Give it a try, good luck

Downgrade to 23.11.1 drivers. 23.12 seems to have major issues.

Now I can finally edit that default livery, and RAM usage stays around 6 GB.

Which Adrenalin version did you installed? I downgraded to 20.10, but not sure if the mentioned 23.11.1 works too :p

FYI, tried out the new 24.1.1, and the bug is still present.

I'm using a 7600s on my laptop and i was having a lot of issues with crashing. I could force a crash 100% of the time by going to the supercar showroom. The game would crash before any of the super cars load. This was while using Adrenaline 24.1.1.

I can confirm that downgrading to Adrenaline 23.11.1 fixed these issues.
