How to get a RED FLAG?
I raced already 4 seasons in My Team mode with a race length of 25% and probability of red flag set to maximum, but still did not get any red flag. Does the race length need to be set to a minimum? Am I missing something?

Probably just RNG.

I've run seasons at 35% and 50% and got them in both.

Never saw one before in this series, and it's very good. Resets the race and makes for a better finish (usually).

I have red flags set to standard. It just takes a qualifying event, like Bottas losing the rear end in the final chicane at Miami, causing a big logjam as he parks in the middle of the turn. Red Flag. For me it hasn't been because of big crashes, but for traffic jams. Don't care about the reason really, I just like the chaos it brings.

I'll try with the 35% length, thanks!!

Good luck, it's a great addition. Matter of fact, I'm full of praise for this year's edition out on the track. More AI driver mistakes, yellows, safety cars and of course the red flags. Formula 1 needs this in my view.

Even the starts are improved. Instead of all the AI cars getting away in order, each now gets away at the lights a little differently, some seemingly in anti-stall, some hooked up straight off, making the standing starts feel so much better. It's probably a little too easy to gain places at the start, but it really feels in a good spot as there's that variability now when the lights go out.

I had a race at Albert park. Coming out of turn 4 Russell ahead of me got a little too much of the right-hand kerb and lost the rears and just slowly rotated off the track in to the opposite wall, which I've done many times exactly like that. F1 sims need this.

There's also been a marked improvement in the AI going wheel to wheel rather than have the race be a procession. It's a significant change to the action on the track and I like it.

I was running a career race at Osterreichring, when a safety car was called and then it went red flag. Watched the replay to see what happened. Albon (who took the retired Alonso's seat at Aston Martin) had an engine problem on the straight coming out of turn 4 and slowed dramatically in the center of the track as the trailing cars sailed past on either side at speed. Zhou though failed to navigate the hazard and plowed in to Albon's right rear, and Zhou's suspension broke bringing out a red flag.

Getting 2 accidents at the same time that would each cause a safety car on its own is probably the best way to get a red flag. Though in AI-games it might come down to RNG a bit more, where it might do it even for smaller accidents
