VR is incredible

At how fast it makes me feel sick! I've spent a lot of time driving racing sims in VR and I've never had an issue until I tried this.

How did they get it performing so poorly even with the graphics turned right down? The head tracking is delayed and will jitter around.

Might be an engine issues of some sort. What headset do you use if I may ask?

I had the same issue in F1 2022 where the head tracking was significantly delayed. I refunded it because of this problem. Sad to hear it's still a problem in F1 2023.

F1 23 vr is phenomenal but I guess not everyone's system has the same results.

i personally find that I move my eyes far more than I move my head when playing in VR, so I personally am very minimally effected by the head movement latency, however, I am aware that the head movement is a little delayed. I suppose that what I am trying to convey is that it is not your fault if you find that the head tracking is delayed...

I can't install it on a SSD, then I have head track errors and it s unplayable, no problem on a HDD. I also have to disable FFB, otherwise it s stutters a lot.

Probably wrong settings, check steam scale, texture quality and bitrate settings.

Playing it in VR and its a lot better than last year, but for improvement to gain, have 2 headsets 1 is a pico neo 3 link and the other is a pico 4, needs both a little tweeking but the results a re not to bad, Oke i have a pretty nice pc but terrible wifi so playing both with a link-cable with external powersuply hooked on to it.
I also stream on twitch with OBS and its not to bad , my driving is worse than the grafics.

I have to rectefy my above statement, I played f1 23 on my pico 3 neo link and its decent, but on my pico 4 its stuttering and blurry as hell on a usb linkcable, and can,t get the right settings , returned to my pico 3 for F1 23

F1 22 VR was amazing with my Index, haven't tried it yet with '23.

It's interesting that there is no response from StuM91, F123 VR is better than F122 VR. If ever you drive F1 at Saudi Arabia in VR and are not impressed or intimidated by how close the walls are... well go back to iRacing and drive formula Vee, maybe that is more your speed!

don't know what crystal meth your smoking but VR implementation on this game is terrible. game isnt designed for VR same as last years game.

How much are EA paying you to say these things? Yes, the VR in 23 is better than in 22, but that's like saying that breaking you leg in three places is better than breaking it in 4 places. I've sunk a lot of hours into VR racing, plenty into the F1 series and honestly, the amount of times that VR in the f1 games crashes on me is, without exaggerating, about 3 times PER play session. It is badly done both on functionality and on stability.

So the VR is McBusted in this game? That's the only reason I want to pick it up...is it working well for anyone? Not "well enough" but fully functional? Is the head tracking issue situational/dependent on frame rate?

It works really good on my quest 2 with nvidia gpu.
