Still FPS Drops und stuttering
Can anyone PLEASE help me?

First of all my Setup:
CPU: Core i9 13900K
RAM: 64GB G.Skill Trident Z5 RGB DDR5-5600 DIMM CL36
GPU: GIGABYTE GeForce RTX 4090 Gaming OC 24G

At the early access i suffered FPS Drops and stuttering so i was like "yeah okay, its bad, maybe in a week or two they'll have fixed it" so now I started the Game again.

I run the Game at 4k and a maximum of 144FPS because my Monitor has 144Hz (dont know, I thought its maybe better if my FPS matches my Hz) and still have FPS drops to like 30 FPS or even lower, so the "feeling" to play the game is really awful. It never runs at 144 FPS, maybe at the start but while in the race i get in between 60 and 100 FPS, really unstable and on top i get FPS drops to like 30 FPS or lower so the game feels like it would stand still.

I recently upgraded from my 3080 to my new 4090 so yeah, do I need to do any Settings in my OS or in NVidia Control Panel or whatever?

Maybe my RAM is the bottleneck? I really dont know, CL36 is kinda high but DDR5 in lower CL is really pricey.

Overall is my setup maybe 2 months old, literally everything is new.

Maybe there are some settings i need to make to take most power from my GPU or I dont know, hopefully anyone can help.

I don't think there's anything to do at the moment except wait for the first patches. The game is simply still very unoptimised at the moment.

Had major FPS issues at night races where FPS would drop to 30-40 and this actually helped. turned Reflex off and FPS jumped back to 144, everything else on high.

32 gb ddr4 @ 3600mhz
RTX 3060 12GB

So anyone with similar or better equipment should have the same or better performance.

I run the game both on my 3080 and 4080 machines. it seems the 4080 has problems and i get weird stuttering and much lower GPU useage until i play around with some of the settings like windowed mode, then it goes back to normal. 3080 - no such problems, game seems to run consistently. I think a patch is needed to fix this. 40 x cards seem to have issues.

Setting the frame limit to half my monitors refresh rate solved it.

uPdaTe tHE drIVErs lol

Game has mega technical issues currently. Definitely won't be picking up on release next year.

Exactly the same last year.

is it only the f1 game or other games too? same happened to me after upgrading my graphic drivers to the newest one and every game was affected.

the driver somehow set the power limit and temperature limit to 0%. it took me like 3 days to figure that one out. core clock wouldnt go above 225hz ingame, but on desktop everything was fine. i didnt have drops though, but was consistently at 20-30fps.

if you have msi afterburner installed check the values there and make sure they are ok and not set at 0%, if so set the power limit back to 100%.

im using a 3080 btw.

where can i do this in afterburner? please tell me

i just saw this in nvidia overlay (alt+Z, performance). there was voltage maximum at 0, so i put this to 100? or whats best?

Inside game?

Or in nvidia panel?

I have absolutely the same problem man. With the latest driver nvidia every game stutters. You adjust the slide in afterburner main interface?
