Besides, 4K requires 4x the power + everything on Ultra is currently around 145fps with the 4090 on average.
When the frame generation option is fixed, you play at about 240fps. Now if you reduce the fps you save 50% waste heat and power.
So I have no idea what's funny about that!
But the many smarties can try it with their 2060 in 4k. I can give it away though, it's about 25fps.
Am I supposed to be funny now?
The difference to 4k with HDR 1400 is enormous in the gaming experience. But everyone has to decide that for themselves.
Always the same. I have a 4090 so i need to show her to everyone.
Again ... a laught.
For FullHD, you don't need a 4090 as much, but there are many other applications where a 4090 has great advantages, e.g. for 8K video editing with many effects. If you want to work without proxy files, you can't do it without the 4090. Time is money in this business.
Your 3090 would be at its limit with 4K and already overtaxed with more games to come. Time goes on...
A 3090 averages about 85fps in F1 23 at 4K Ultra, not 190fps.
When the frame generation for the 4000 series in F1 is fixed, the 4090 will manage about 240fps here at 4K, with about the same power consumption as a 3090 at 85fps! There are thousands of benchmarks for the cards on the internet. So what's so special about your 3090? We know all the performance data!
But it's certainly funny to always compare Full HD with 4K. 4K has four times the amount of pixels on the screen. So you lose a lot of FPS with 4K.
But back to F1.
@Sergy12
There's a long post about it here (I'm also active there), but you don't have a chance to fix it yourself at the moment. I have to wait for an update.

Why is everything always lol and hahahah here?
With DLSS 3 comes Frame Generation!
With it you can save 50% power or double the FPS!
Or you can use DLAA, which is the DLSS option Ultra Quality in the game (unfortunately wrongly named at the moment) and use it together with Frame Generation. Then you are at about 150fps (4K Ultra Settings 4090), but have a really better picture compared to DLSS Quality!
Unfortunately, there is also a bug with DLSS Quality. DLSS already has anti-aliasing. But the DLSS Quality option unfortunately always activates the TAA anti-aliasing option as well. This means that DLSS currently always has double anti-aliasing. Many people complain about blurred image output.
But I'm amazed at how many people don't even notice this :-)
At the moment you can only change this in the file itself: hardware_settings_config.xml (set TAA to false there) As soon as you play around with DLSS in the game, TAA is unfortunately activated again (bug). Both options make no sense. TAA or DLSS. I hope there will be an update soon....
DLSS 3 for F1 game is useless. For that kind of power you have with your 4090.
That looks a league better than DLSS Quality on 4K.
But without frame generation, you're down to 70fps.
Or just DLSS Quality with 50% less power?
What's so bad about that?
It will come anyway, unfortunately it's currently a bug.
But you don't have to switch it on. I would like to have it :-)
