they just didnt gave a fugg on it.
Probably it will not work for the next game as well
My Setup:
Fanatec GT DD PRO + Mclaren GT V2 Wheel
+
Heusinkveld sprint pedals (No Clutch set)
For '22: Keep restarting the game until you see an intro video you can skip with a wheel button (the magic combo only happening once every x tries). It won't show up most of the time, but when it does and it lets you skip it, both separate pedals + wheel should work.
Besides that even without the intro showing up sometimes the game will let you enter the main menu with a wheel button; it's a 50/50 shot then of the pedals also working.
(oh and be sure to double-check your ingame input profiles to make sure it's active)
The weirdest thing is alt-entering to windowed mode and switching focus between your taskbar and the game will toggle either pedals or wheel input activating, but not both.
Too silly a bug to even mention, never ever happens with '20 and '21, and it looks like its still the same mess for '23 :(
Ah yeah forgot to mention that was needed to get a separate T3PA-Pro with TM wheel to show up just like with the T-LCMs, but still after that the input working is random and taking many restarts of the game to get both working simultaneously.
If you're lucky enough to have 'em plugged directly to the base it should work all the time. If both are connected through USB I'm seeing the same detection problems described in '23 that were in also '22, but never in '21 or '20..
