No Forcefeedback with DS5 (dual sense) controller.

As the title says really, I have no forcefeedback at all. The adaptive trigger stuff works, but there is no trigger vibration or controller vibration. F1 21 had it no problem, F1 22 it was gone and now F1 23. Kinda frustrating.

If anyone else has or doesn't have feedback on the DS5 please can you note it below. Thanks.

NOTE: I just found you can enable Steam input and emulate as an Xbox controller, and this will give you forcefeedback. Downsides are the button prompts are wrong and adaptive triggers don't seem to work. Hope this helps someone.

There was also an issue with DualSense when F122 launched, they fixed it shortly afterwards.

Hopefully they fix this issue you mention and then I will buy it.

I still had the issue with it on F1 22 all the way through. But yeah at least on F1 23 I got FFB with the steam input. Just depends if you can live without the adaptive triggers, personally I hate it because I know I still have throttle/brake I can use even though it's telling me to stop. So I can live without the adaptive triggers.

Ok, that's weird, in F122 I have both haptics and adaptive triggers and I specially like those features with all the assists deactivated.

Are you using the dualsense wired or wireless? because it must be wired for the native support in the game to detect it.

Wired, always. I could get the adaptive triggers no problem, just no FFB at all in F1 22.

Hey guy,i just wanna find out that do ds5 have adpative trigger in f1 23 now? The adaptive trigger is quite important for me to feel the throttle/brake. So i am hesitating to purchase F1 23 on Steam if it do not have the adaptive trigger working.

Turn on Dualsense speaker and microphone in windows settings. It should allow vibration to work.

Huh, is that like a general thing or just an F1 thing? You're right, I did have both disabled. I can't remember if I've had vibration in any other game so whilst it's a dumb question, it's a legit one.
