Is the braking worse?
Can't tell if the brakes don't respond as well in this version or if it's just me. I can't seem to stop and turn in time like previous games. Did they tweak the braking effects? Maybe I'm just overloading the car into the corners too much?

no I agree I am thinking the same thing with this years title. Took me a day to get used to it and even went back on F122 to see if it had changed.

Weird no one else is speaking about this though.

I had similar problem so when braking I couldn’t turn as aggressively as in previous ones.
So I replayed the corner and found that I’m locking the fronts, so I changed the front brake bias to 57% ( played around a bit and found that as a sweet spot for me ) and then I no longer had the braking issue

It's definitely harder to not lock up tyres now, especially the rear tyres, so i guess it's more important to also consider the braking zones more while building a setup, especially in terms of braking bias.

As of now i'm releasing the brakes earlier, until i've adapted to it properly.

They made it so you have to actually use your brake bias so you can't have it at 50 just gotta test what works and may have to actually change it during race

Glad to see it's not just me then. I thought I was going crazy. Will continue playing with the brake biases and braking zones.

58% seems to be a very good starting point for brake bias. Also you may need to start braking just a touch earlier than you have done in previous games. My first session with F1 23 was difficult as well. Today was significantly better. The brakes felt good and the car behaved as predicted. Trail braking seems to be more beneficial than before as well.

57-59 break bias seems working well, shame every time I use F1 World car it starts from 63 bb, have to switch before the lights go out

I think the car set up is very bad on Braking Point 2, especially if you play without assists (brake bias and on throttle diff are set at around 65... I don't even want to think about the rest of the set up lol) . So the first thing I do when I get control is put them back into the 50-55 range.
Which can be a pain to do when the game gives you control just before a big braking zone.

I had to keybind the BB so I could change it during on lap 1. Shame I have to do this every race though... 55-58 seems to be a good range.

There were races on Braking Point where I had to give up a bunch of time to not smash the barriers with a rear lock some tracks 55-58 some I had it as high as 63

The braking zone does seem to be longer. But I have adapted to it and gotten used to it.
