I'm no expert in the game, but from what I've seen you need to change the way you think a bit.

As a quick tip I'd suggest replacing Unstable Core with Shocking Revelation and moving the killzones near to the cores to compensate for that. Result should be that core will last longer.

While ACP is handy, its true potential is really revealed when you build it near Range Spire and cover greater area with it. Pretty much everything benefits from Range Spire and there's no map where Range Spire doesn't come handy.

Tsygan with Drone Launcher doesn't sound quite right. I'd suggest playing other characters (Skye works nice with Drone Launcher for example), especially when you play 5 FoS solo.

I'm not sure how you came up with this setup, really.
Let's take a look at the map layout. You got 2 separate routes. This almost certainly implies that you have enough resources only to cover one side, while the other has to be taken out by hand. Top side has longer path if you send the bottom spawn through the bridge to join with top left one. Now all you have to do is get some focuses + slow field there, maybe one lightning and a range spire.
For char: Tsygan + drone launcher = disaster. I'm not even sure how her passive works with this gun (if it does at all). You'd want a heavy damage setup to obliterate bottom side. Any heavy-hit+aoe setup+ slow perk works. Skye with juxtaposition'd gatling, Haigen with, say, shotty + lightning gun (the one with chain lightning on alt, forgot the name atm) and perks like spray'n'pray... Don't fixate on core perks, because you can't win a sustain battle on 2 cores. Try focusing on wiping the floor with bottom wave really fast and then jumping up top.

i only fixated on core perks because i would lose at wave 5 from 5000 walkers hitting the core. i take resilient core and unstable core to counter that. And Tsygans passive DOES work with the drone, it gets me the 1st 3 levels without core damage, so i could stock up on resources for more towers. then after wave 4, cores started to take damage... A LOT of damage. resilient core and unstable core decreased the likelyhood of losing. as a matter of fact, using that setup, i got to the last wave, hoverer queen was next to death, then i lost, so it IS a viable setup, but like i said, im open to new ideas, so i will give them a shot. thank you 2 for helping out
Bishop Dec 29, 2014 @ 6:26pm
i tried them out. both of them i dont feel comfortable using, especially the skye one. if i die, i have to restart. therefore im saying abandoned lab on all 5 feats of strength solo is impossible and i will just never do it again, for the sake of my computer
Mech-HAN Dec 29, 2014 @ 8:06pm
AA?there's only one wave with flyer and no more than 5...also Drone towers can be replaced by foces I think...never solo it with feats though
Its a hard map,but easier than roadwork...I think 2 people play this map is the best...
Sehkter Dec 29, 2014 @ 11:19pm
It's not impossible. It's easier than a lot of other maps. Killzone should be 4 focus towers by the first core with a range spire in between. This will cover the core in case of leaks AND the bottom ramp (focus towers can apparently shoot through the floor.) Place drone towers at strategic places and add slow fields in the killzone eventually.

At some point you'll want to place a couple of focus and a drone tower near the second core to deal with the lumes coming from the bottom ramp. This is where you should be doing the bulk of the fighting at the beginning of every round. After you've backed all the way to the second core, it's usually a good time to jump on the nearby fan to go check out the first core. Make good use of the fans to jump between cores as needed.

Also, while there are a lot of walkers and walker pups, they come out slowly, just a few at a time, so ACP's aren't actually needed. Focus towers will pick them off as they come just fine.

I've done all this both solo and co-op after the nerf patch using Skye with the drone laucher and gatling laser with tactical jux and core stun, core heal.

After beating Sokol with 5 Feats of Strength, Abandoned Lab almost felt like a breeze to me.

My strategy is quite different from the above as I protect the north core almost by myself save from the last wave which has a Hoverer Queen. All you need to know is how to kite Walkers and use the stupid vents on the lower level (honestly, ♥♥♥♥ those things). The loadout was originally suggest by DoomyDoom for Sokol 5 FoS Solo, but worked very well here.

I've done a video recently on this level:
EDIT: Updated to a video with a safer build.

@Minoru
Bah you beat me to it ;P That was the layout (tower wise) that I used about 1.5 years ago when I first beat that map on 5 FoS... those were good days
Btw your vid looks dead black for me (sound works, no picture) in steam for some reason. Works fine on YT.

@OP
It's not impossible, lol (as evidently proven by vids above). I bring you my layout screenies. Just did it, took me exactly one try. ONE.
Char: Skye
Weapons: Gatling + Ballista
Perks: Slowing Presence, Spray'n'Pray, Tacticall Juxtaposition.
Towers: 1 slow field, 3 focus, 1 range spire.

Maze screens below. Notes:
-look for my charachter's blue arrow to see which wave I was taking out first for each wave.
-leveling order - if not apparent from changed tower color, assume I put spare points into focus. At wave 10 I overcharged range for all resources.
-combat principle - spray ballista's secondary fire to proc passive, then charge gatling to instagib all low-health targets. Kiting with double jump+slow is extremely easy.
-slow fields are all near focuses

Wave 1 - no maze, didn't bother screening, full core hp obviously
Wave 2 - full core hp
Wave 3 - full core hp
Wave 4 - full core hp
Wave 5 - full core hp
Wave 6 - top core 3915, bottom 3850
Wave 7 - top core 3915, bottom 3850 (both untouched)
Wave 8 - top core 3915, bottom 3850 (both untouched)
Wave 9 - top core 3915, bottom 3050 (derped with super heavy a bit there)
Wave 10 - top core 3715 (queen got 1 hit off), bottom 3050
Endgame screen

Trying to solo those maps might be tricky. It's a coop game, take advantage of that. It's more fun to play it with someone else anyway.

they get stronger with more people too... and i have a problem with that

Bishop Dec 30, 2014 @ 6:00pm
im making my game public if anyone here wants to help that way

HAH, your core loss predictions we FAR from right. wave 5? both at full health? no, more like first core at 855 and 2nd core at 2870. this just proves that i suck at this game

I used to think 5 Feats were impossible back then, I couldn't even get past Bio Lab at Rank 40 (maximum at the time), you just need to tweak a little with perks and characters, you might find some tasty combination that suits you the best.

Also, Abandoned Lab made me rage quit this game for months when I first reached it and lost about five to eight times (I don't remember), and that was WITHOUT any feats.

Those are not predictions, but rather my actual results after every wave. If you have troubles at wave 4/5, a hint - kill walkers and leave tanks alone. they will lose most of their hp due to corpse explosion and gatling aoe, but if top core is getting pressed (watch minimap for wave position) - jump there. Tanks take a while to walk to the core.
