However, it's a game from 2013 and Coffee Stain hasn't been as popular back in time. If they create Sanctum 3, I think that now they can get a much bigger player count and respectively more money from the sells. They just gotta tune the balance some more. Imagine if we see something like a hybrid between the two Sanctum games and Deep Rock galactic. If players can choose how much exactly to depend on weapons and how much exactly on towers via perks, skills & upgrades without it going too complicated, this can be a culmination point and a cult game.
About the goat-game, idk. I often forget that such games exist. I used to think that it's some kinda mobile game. Not for every type of players, I guess.
Mb I gotta try Satisfactory sometime tho. It seems kinda promising and suitable for me, also I see some elements of the Sanctum games... still in early access tho. Actually mb exactly this holds Coffee Stain from producing more games or game chapters atm. I mean, if I was a dev and I had a game in early access, I 'd do as much as possible to make it a more solid and better game before producing anything else. It can't be in Early Access 4ever.
About the "not a big studio", yes, mb, but now they are more popular than before and if they create some day a Sanctum 3 game, they are likely to have big success & player count.
Its just that tower defense as a genre is not that popular, aside from some mobile projects.
They're publishers, not devs of deep rock
Just recently got into Orcs Must Die and it made me itch to redownload both Sanctum games. Its been far too long since I played. I really hope a third installment comes eventually. They're still working on Satisfactory though (which is also a great game).
