They ruined the game's matchmaking

Now because of this division in game modes, I no longer find normal matches to complete my missions, I only find them in Halloween mode and even then, it takes a long time

I only play normal games (for now, i will wait get level 100 for rankeds) and find game in less than 3 minutes. Event Halloween is a waste of time.

very hard to find a match now after the update. i wait for 10-30 minutes for one game. i can't complete my daily mission. some time i have to play another small game just to wait for this game to match me a room.

play the rating. There's 0 differences, it's the same zoo out there where in one game bronze and max ranks, 0 differences

I hope they can keep the game attractive and have a lot of players, because I found the gameplay really fun, but the long waiting times aren't worth it for me, as I only play in my free time from work.

Yeah, came here specifically due to long queue times that became very apparent recently (ranked around 2,5k mmr atm). It's pitty spending 30 minutes in queue or even longer already tbh.
Gotta change something for the better if you want to keep the game attractive and popular, as Gabriel said.

This is not solely because of the game modes, it's because people are figuring out there's a region selector and utilizing it to only get their region for better ping.

Both ranked and standard are less than 5 minute queues for me, but I'm also not trying to queue during down times for my region.

That is true Doomvora, it is too many different 'filters' that spread the people in the queue and lower the game experience.
Yes, the region selection is necessary.
No, the Halloween event and similar (especially this early in the game release, and being available for this long) is definitely not.
Having lower number of queue options would instantly solve at least part the problem.

I didn't understand this strategy of leaving the Halloween event separate, wasn't it more interesting to let people complete the Halloween missions and play with the map modifications in normal mode? Maybe it would just reduce the amount of pumpkins given.

same happens here, more than 15 minutes for a match...and when start just play 6 vs 6...not 12 vs 12 or ranked...
