[Spoiler] Tips on a certain Chapter 1 route?

Hi, I just finished Chapter 1 and I've noticed that Yakko has a branching route on the Story Tree right after she leaves Mio to fend off against the One Sided Reed curse. Will I unlock it through story progression later on or is there a specific set of steps I need to follow in order to unlock it early on (please keep it as a hint if possible)?

I actually went that route first. You go there by telling the janitor about Mio and your stone..

Huh, really? I'm pretty sure I did that one as well (to be specific, it's the one where Yakko finds Mio's body before getting killed by the curse echo.), however the corresponding route still appears to be greyed out in the Story Chart.

Edit: huh, never mind, I just tried doing it again and this time it worked without an issue. Welp, that was mildly anti-climactic. Either way, thanks for the help! :P

Any suggestions for this? I clicked on the option for "Sorry" with the Janitor and then clicked on "I'm worried about Mio" so I already unlocked that scene. The walkthrough I'm following just says "Try again". So I clicked on Restart, same options. I clicked on Resume and chose "Start from School grounds" same options.

Edit: NVM, I don't know if maybe it's a glitch but I just completely restarted my game and it popped up this time
