wow silly question so 4k textures has nothing to do with screen resolution lol its the resolution of in game textures meaning stock they are 2k look nice say at 1080p resolution game graphic settings but with 4k textures theyl look awesome and twice as nice and ton better with detail...its just the size resolution of in game tetxures like fallout 4 texture pack 4k they had....fact they even have a 4k texture pack is alarming meaning game performance must be a joke as Snowrunner nor Expeditions has a 4k texture pack ....this thing is nothing more than a console port which is damn sad
again as i just told poster 4k texture has absolutely nothing to do with screen resolution its the resolution of in game texture meaning stock there 2k will look okay say at 1080 p res but with 4k texture theyl look twice as nice at 1080p resolution...people need to learn wtf 4k textures actually means gezzz...
An extra DLC for graphics besides the base game might be because of the consoles. But i don't know for sure.
my 4090 should able to handle that....
yes you are correct we got a console port everyone...they stated int here dev blog they axed the stone layer due to memory limits on console so one build for all platforms which is ridiculous as pc the game engine can do so much more not limited by console specs.....Saber hasnt learned yet
i would think so
4K to me means 4K resolution, so basically the developers are just selling junk to pc customers then
people really need to learn about there gpu and VRAM amount and wtf a 4k texture pack actually is ...like my word the sillyness on here is mind boggling.....a 4090 can handle 8k texture resolutions as it has 16 gigs of VRAM....stock game if there doing 4k texture pack has 2k texture sizes same as Mudrunner which doesnt use much VRAM
Ive done UE5 stuff on my 4070 ti super dev wise with 16 k texture rendering and i still have a few gigs of VRAM to spare lol UE4 didnt support 16k only up to 8k but UE5 does 16k rendering if you configure the project properly
fact Saber released this with a 4k texture pack shows its nothing but a lousy console port one build for all platforms why in dev blog they said they axed the stone road building layer due to memory limits and file size limits on console...i already lost hope for this weeks ago i did get a copy got a feeling ill be refunding it another cash grab like expeditions was and they do one build to save dev costs but with pc a console port simply hurts sales over if engine was pushe dot utilized the pc hardware as we have no limits on PC...most people fly with a rtx card and 32 gigs of system ram bare minimum
we actually got a console port why limited physics axing of stone road building layer mentioned in last dev blog and the game stock uses 2k texture resolutions like Mudrunner did for ground textures...4k texture pack is a red flag its a console port form what others have said a bad one to boot
i opted out of data collection by rejecting it do not accept it... i do not recommend people accepting it as its privacy intrusive...
I don't interpret it as meaning the game is a console port, and indeed, it shows that they understand and are willing to serve the PC market.
Once it's finished installing I'll see if runs on my PC :)
