I've looked in the previous games, I don't think I would care for them...
This game, is in that sweet spot for me. The more realistic sims don't look fun..
I use controller for snow runner and this game. IMO the steering for this game is 100x better than snowrunner. Maybe due to them slowing down the speed of vehicles or maybe they just fixed it. All I do know though is driving anything above a snails pace in snowrunner was like driving on ice and was uncontrollable. If wanting "realistic" handling, that is definitely not it. Shouldn't be sliding all over pavement at speeds that the vehicles go.
Calling people brain dead for buying something and buying it yourself. Says a lot now doesn't it.
Mudrunner's High 8k
Snowrunner's High 11k
Clearly the brain dead people are making Saber/Focus some money... so it was a good call me thinks.
so did expeditions, they taper off after a few weeks/months, once the achievement hunting midwits move onto their next slop the player count will drop - unless updates and changes are made by then, well see :)
Now what we don't know currently is if it's going to have the legs the other games have had.
online player counts are just a good way of judging how well something sold, and this sold pretty well if they hit 33k with such a niche game
Honestly, it sounds like you just don't like having to adjust to something new.
