Imaging how good this would have been
If they just kept the Snowrunner formula and built upon that.

inb4 "HURR DURRR ITS NOT SNOWRUNNER!"

There's currently 30 people playing expeditions right now and a few thousand playing snowrunner, why on earth did the devs think to make Roadcraft in a similar vain, it's clear no one liked expeditions yet they continued down this path and we go this weird arcade version of a game.

Like why change the way the camera moves..? it's trash.
Why fk steering so bad for controller users.
Why change the way the vehicle behave, they pretty much accelerate from an instance, there's plenty of videos show how the physics have regressed compared to their other popular titles.

I see people trying to claim that snowrunner was bad on release, this is a lie. I was one of the goobers who bought it on release when it came out on epic, from day 1 it was a joyus fun game, the loop and gameplay at the time was already solid, so much so i bought it again on the steam release.

Should have looked after your existing fans instead of pandering to midwitts who needs instant gratification and big colourful messages/text to give them a dopamine hit for doing the most trivial of tasks, The fact this game can be played with a 2nd screen watching videos instead of concentrating on the tasks just shows how brain dead the gameplay is.

Probably to expand their player base... with light Simulator... something more people can enjoy.
I've looked in the previous games, I don't think I would care for them...
This game, is in that sweet spot for me. The more realistic sims don't look fun..

I use controller for snow runner and this game. IMO the steering for this game is 100x better than snowrunner. Maybe due to them slowing down the speed of vehicles or maybe they just fixed it. All I do know though is driving anything above a snails pace in snowrunner was like driving on ice and was uncontrollable. If wanting "realistic" handling, that is definitely not it. Shouldn't be sliding all over pavement at speeds that the vehicles go.
I have both Snowrunner and RoadCraft and enjoy both.....Different strokes for different folks I guess

braindead people buy games no questions asked.. thats why game companies are starting to cater to them first instead of their loyal fan base cause they can create absolute ♥♥♥♥ and still make money
Roadcraft has over 10k now playing which is way more than both, so what’s your point.

Calling people brain dead for buying something and buying it yourself. Says a lot now doesn't it.

it just released lol.. AC shadows had 60k and its worse than this so this point doesnt really mean much

10k people playing right now with online player count got to a high of 33k
Mudrunner's High 8k
Snowrunner's High 11k
Clearly the brain dead people are making Saber/Focus some money... so it was a good call me thinks.

so did expeditions, they taper off after a few weeks/months, once the achievement hunting midwits move onto their next slop the player count will drop - unless updates and changes are made by then, well see :)

That is every game, with some exceptions... 80% drop after the 1st month is normal.
Now what we don't know currently is if it's going to have the legs the other games have had.
online player counts are just a good way of judging how well something sold, and this sold pretty well if they hit 33k with such a niche game

steam isnt the only platform and all of my mates bought their games through epic so id assume lots of other people did too and snowrunner wasnt even day one on pc so cant really believe these numbers

As someone who has never played a previous game by this developer that is vehicle related, I'm really enjoying RoadCraft. Camera controls and vehicle behavior all seems fine to me. I use M&K, so can't really speak about how controllers work.

Honestly, it sounds like you just don't like having to adjust to something new.
