how safe is co op?

ive heard 3 people claim that if you join a friend and he unlocks a "new" truck through gameplay... once you jump back to your own world, your world is ♥♥♥♥♥♥.. and you wont be able to unlock anything of that kind.. is that on both saving the pogression and not? or just if you copy/save his pogression into yours?. i want to play co op with my friend so bad but both of us is afraid of it happening.

best to have separate single player and co-op saves

I've had this issue and they just rolled out a patch and I was able to buy the vehicles that where previously locked to me so I'd say everything is looking safer now.

I still can't buy the Kronenwerk L-34 dozer or the Baikal 59-16.
Maybe if I replay the Tutorial map once more.
Will update this post once I have the time to reset it.

Edit: Even after playing the tutorial map once again, I still can't buy them.

broken ONLY if you save his pogression to yours?? cause i always play my totaly own. i never "save" his into my world..

It's not broken, really. You just have to hop around all the maps with each other to get the same vehicles unlocked.

well thing is I Dont want to save pogression. i like to jump in, help him out. then go back to my totaly own save.. so i would guess,, i wont have this issue? i mean im guessing if he unlocked it, and i saved my game when me myself havent gone there first, i would get issues... but if i dont save his save... i have to do the exact same mission/quests to get it myself and would get it myself.
