Crane/Winching specific objects from a large pile

Has someone figured out a way to do this easily? There might be, for example, a dozen objects in a pile but I would like to just grab a few specific items. Using the wench isn't too difficult because the targeting system moves where the camera is pointed. However, telling the crane to select the correct item can be a chore!! Pressing the cycle target button until the item is randomly selected (and then sometimes not stopping in time and having to press the button more times until it hits again) is not fun or intuitive. Maybe a way to cycle backward and forward through the items would help in case you miss the item on the first pass. Anyone else having trouble?

If you grab&release a load, then current target will be one closest to the boom.

It saves some time. But picking a specific target among a few dozen ones is ass.

I cant thank you enough for this tip. I've been doing this ever since. While it's not perfect, it helps a lot to keep operations smooth and greatly reduces wasted time.
