Exploring - Not tracked (Suggestion)
There appears to be little reason to explore the map to discover items (at least in the first two maps) since the quests force you to return to a particular spot (I've already visited) when the next part of the mission quests are unlocked.

Would be nice if you could add a a means to determine if we've already scouted the area and not require I return just to progress to the next step.

First two maps are tutorial they're small.

In 3rd map I find Scouting very cool, much better than in Snowrunner, you don't have stupid lookout towers and you actually need to get there to uncover fog of war and points of interest on the map.

I don't why people say "3rd map"
You have 2 to choose from after "Aftermath"
which one?

Even Devs do number maps, 😁

rb_map_03_incommunicado -> thats the one with comm stations failing.

Unless "incommunicado" is more clear to you... Intellegisne? Usus nominis "tertia tabula geographica" tantum simplicior est.

I only speak 2 languages Good English and Bad English.
The file names doesn't matter much, nothing in-game does it say Incommunicado or Sunken are the 3rd and 4th maps respectively... you can pick either. I've seen many call Sunken the 3rd map... hence it's better to say the map name...
Nothing on game Ui indicates it is not a 3rd map. It's litery numbered as 3rd map in game files.

File name is irrelevant
Does it matter? Either of the 3rd maps that you get to are larger and worth exploring than the first two you have to play.

No the point I was making, was the 3rd map could be either Incomm or Sunken depending on which you decided to do 1st… nothing denotes (in-game without mucking about the game files) which is the actual 3rd map.
And none of these comments to the point of being force to return to a spot to advance progression.

IMHO the second third map is mostly uncovered, thats why I said the 1st third map is cool. I didn't like scouting in Snowrunner- go to watchpoint and uncovers 1/3 of map. I usualy just drove a heavy AWD truck there, and scouting cars were pretty much useless for me. Here is different. You uncover small portion of fog of war, and scouts are much more manuverable that early trucks. Sometimes there are no briges, so you need you find tight spot to pass with your car. Some trucks will not be a best fit for that, and you can uncover map with scout much faster here. Plus there are gates to open that need whether a winch or a crane rope to pull them open. Good stuff, much better engaging than 'go to watchtower'.

The 4th map is actually much bigger than i thought. I had to build a concrete bridge to proceed.

As I said before, the first two maps are just tutorial, "easy mode" to get you on board with the game.
