yeah, they definitely need to change the overwrite button to something else, using controler its set to A and its easy to forget and click it away overwriting your map progress.

They need to allow us to have two save files for each map. A multiplayer save and a single player save.
Damn. That sucks. I panic saved when my ZIKZ was glitching flying through the air

Ive yet to co-op this, but that does that mean your multiplayer progress is the same for every player on the map regardless of who is hosting?

Funnily enough, I had this happen to me for Incommunicado. I'd already beaten it and was clearing up Sunken when I got on a friend's game to help him briefly with Incommunicado. I very carefully chose NOT to save my multiplayer progress, for fear of this exact thing happening to me. I come back to my hub the next day, and my Incommunicado progress was reset to his level (~20ish percent).

It didn't lock me out of Sunken, nor did it prevent me from continuing onto Sandswept, but it did wipe what was effectively my "map state" on Incommunicado; basically the same as choosing to reset map progress. My guess is because I effectively "beat" the map, I was okay. However, if I was at 75% and this happened, I'd be singing a different tune.

If you both have NOT done the map yet, you share all the progress being made. If one person has already done it, then the results can vary - apparently.

The hosts progress will overrite your save entirely if you exit and save. DO NOT SAVE

What concerns me with that is if you don't unlock the final map, will you have to go back and complete incommunicado first? Hmmm
