Came here to say the same thing, it's just so frustrating tbh.
If you mean it zooms in when you driver under something, yeah that could be fixed by fixing the clipping. But then they also have to make sure what you driver under is transparent.
Part of the issue might be that moving forward causes the camera to zoom in. Since most games use the joystick for movement, this setup feels counterintuitive. I wish there was an option to disable that zoom feature instead of constantly adjusting to it.
Having more options to customize your controls is rarely a bad thing, in fact it usually adds flexibility. Since I'm not the only one who finds this to be an issue, I believe it's worth considering an adjustment. It would be easy to implement and wouldn't interfere with users who prefer to zoom in on that joystick.
