FAQ is useless – disembowelment of the series!
I just read through the FAQ and honestly… it's marketing fluff at best. No real answers, just vague "vision" talk and PR-speak that says nothing. Completely unhelpful if you're actually trying to understand what kind of game RoadCraft: Rebuild Edition is.

I cannot believe what ChatGPT (and other sources) are saying:
❌ No fuel consumption? Not even as an option?
❌ Recovery is FREE? Where's the risk?
❌ No damage simulation?
❌ AWD and Low-Gear ON/OFF - no negative effects = gameplay kill

I'm seriously asking: Where is the GAMEPLAY?

From the FAQ
“Is it like SnowRunner?”
➡️ No. It's a neutered cousin with no fuel, no damage, and driving that feels like a PowerPoint animation.

“What’s the purpose?”
➡️ To scoop dirt and pretend that dragging a box 3 meters is saving the world.

“Can I drive trucks?”
➡️ Yes, but they feel like shopping carts and never run out of gas, so who cares?

“Physics like SnowRunner?”
➡️ Only if you think gravity is a polite suggestion.

“Hard Mode coming later?”
➡️ Translation: we gutted the sim mechanics but might tape them back on after enough people rage-quit.

What utter moron got drunk and decided to disembowel the most interesting parts of the entire franchise – just to shift the focus toward some brain-dead build-a-bridge sim for the "casual player" crowd?

What's so hard about keeping the beloved fan-faforite Features in the game that long-time fans actually enjoy? Why strip down the mechanics to chase an audience that probably won’t stick around anyway?

And now that I’ve written all this, I honestly don’t even expect an answer. Maybe I don’t even want one. But I’ll post it anyway — because some things just need to be said.

If this hits even one other player who thought “Wait... am I the only one who finds this direction baffling?” — then I’m glad I spoke up.

Sometimes it's not about "fixing" the game —
…it’s about not pretending this watered-down design is what we all asked for.

🔸 If you've felt it too — the hollowness, the stripped depth — you're not alone.
🔸 And if you haven’t noticed yet... just wait until the novelty wears off.

Let the devs polish their "experience."
I just miss the game.

For the filthy casual that is me, this game scratches a different itch than Snowrunner. I am having a very good time with the game.

I hope they develop Snowrunner 2 at some point, to deliver a game that appeals to you.
