So yeah, if you want to half-ass a job go for it. There are no people, no cars, no anything that will judge you, but I will.
but man the launch build is rough.
i would be happy enough if the Roller helped flatten Sand Pre Paving instead of its current limited function.
the dozer works just fine getting sand flat. 9/10 ive done are pretty well flat, usually just making a pass each direction.
when they release hardcore mode, they should make it that rain destroys/erodes dirt roads over time... so that you only got limited time use for dirt roads, otherwise pave them
I think those struggling to flatten sand are over pouring it. You dont need 3 heavy dumps full for a mud hole the size of 1 vehicle. People over pour then the sand stay uneven because they dont have room to properly spread it. It has a minimum height it works down to that is flat, If you have 60 tons of sand when you need 10 your going to fight getting it flat.
Maybe because pouring sand is all or nothing now. Give us a more consistent way to lay down sand over a stench of road.
This one grinds my gears unless it actually changes later game.
It's gravel or dirt to make roads .
Sand is for making concrete , no good for roads.
I perfectly pave a road wide enough for a double lane and when I done my final pass down the middle to complete it turned into a ♥♥♥♥♥♥ single lane ,
Making FLAT roads with the given tools is easy, making inclines - not so much.
