3rd map, cant not "take out" pipes?

I have 5 Pipes in the recycle facility, but i can not figure out how to get them. Its say button Z but this does nothing.
Also there is no why i can see to buy pipes, even having 25k on the bank.

So what am i missing? How to get the pipes from the facility?

This 5 pipes only show on the map, in the top right corner i have 0 pipes.
This is very confusing. Also the colour of steel and pipes is exactly the same or is it not?

EDIT: Ok very stupid, it show Z but you need to press Y, german keyboard and all that

How do you recycle? I'm not using a controller and I brought yellow items (tires) to a yellow depot but nothing tells me how to drop them for recycling.

To recycle items, you fill a truck and drive it into the input yellow square. Has the recycle symbol with arrows pointing inwards. If you drive into the proper area with unstrapped cargo, it will vanish from your truck and you'll see the bar graph for the steel pipes start to fill. When it fills all the way, you have enough for one pipe and you'll see a prompt to produce the pipe which will show up in the other yellow square. )the output square.

The depot on the 3rd map will only recycle steel into new pipes. (flashing blue)
Presumably other maps in the full release will recycle rubber on concrete at other depots to manufacture other resources.

When you take pipes out they drop in the other highlighted zone. They don't appear in your crane truck bed. You gotta load them yourself

Yea, my problem was simply the german keyboard, i kept pressing Z but i needed to press Y ... took me a while to figure that out

ah, so its blue items to recycle, the colour of the recycling centre implied it was yellow. it does mention that the resource you need = the resources to recycle but its not all that clear. thanks for this.

Damn , I came looking for this comment as I was trying to recycle yellow items and nothing happened. Thx dude I only need 2 pipes to have all missions at 100%

Shame it not worked for me. I drived with tractor, unstrapped, it didn't vanish. Unloaded it, still nothing. Recycling just doesn't work for me.

So you tried to recycle blue items? Do you have a screenshot or something? You should be able to recycle blue items just moving inside recycling station.

silly question but are you on the larger yellow drop off point? not the smaller yellow pickup point.
There a scrap tractor 10 meters away you can just drag with a crane.

I bring blue steel items to the recycle place, they disappear like it's being accepted but my steel meter doesn't go up at all.

I'm colorblind...is there another colored debris similar to blue that maybe I can't tell the difference between?

Your steel meter does not go up, you get steel in the recycle plant you can take out... if you would put "that" into a storage, the meter would show that.

If you have german keyboard, press Y not Z
