+1 if you want hardmode
Can I get a +1 from everyone who wants a mode with fuel and damage enabled?

I want a SnowRunner experience with road building and all the depth this game offers. The current demo feels way too simplified, and I don't want that complexity to be lost. I get that many people enjoy the more casual approach, but please give us a hard mode—an iron man mode—where fuel matters and damage is real.

How can you loose complexity if it was never there in the first place! Stop comparing it with other games these developers have made in the past.

This being said, it could be an option to implement a damage and fuel system, but only for those who want it by activating it in the gameplay options.

I have a 0.99 cents bus driving simulator from 2007 in my steam account that has more in depth vehicle features than this self proclaimed 'advanced simulation' :(

Roadcraft has so much potential and such a great concept and foundation. Please don't blow it away on arcade gameplay.

It looks like fuel will be part of the retail version I read the codex to get fuel you have to do side quests.

That's not vehicle fuel but a building resource.

110% this post!

Snowrunner became a hit because it did everything right. Why is Saber trying to re-invent the wheel now? First Expeditions and now this?
Put Roadcraft on the Snowrunner skeleton of big free flowing map and their structure, keep fuel and damage gauges as well as proper vehicle controls, etc.

Snowrunner design + the road crafting element of this game would be a once in a lifetime hit.

People should go read the first Developer Diaries in which the devs literally say:

While the nitty-gritty mud-crawling is still a part of the game, it now plays more of a secondary role, letting you focus on broader, more strategic challenges.

+1, give back fuel and dmg, and why u can`t turn off engine in this "Advanced Simulator"? So lame i hope this is the Tourist difficulty options right now, just bring back hardcore and a real Advanced Simulator to the table, or just call it Mario Kart 2 if not + unlimited speed if we don`t take dmg hmmm maybe add flight mode + noclip to this at this point :) remove the Advanced Simulator tag from this game :> what a joke. Nice engine and map but that`s about it for this game. P.S. Wtf is this horn on this heavy machinery? Sounds like my grandpa's old lada car def not a truck. *beep beep* = 0  :steamfacepalm:

Devs say this? Maybe they drink the wrong water at this point, this game is same like SnowRunner just they try to cut so much content out of it and pretend it`s not a SnowRunner game XD it`s a pain to see this happening, nice demo but for now no thx, i`m not paying money for cut content of a "Advanced Simulator title." I hope 2025 simulators don`t go down this road, if so....... R.i.P Gaming :srengine:

How can u focus with infinite fuel and no dmg, just give us ultra speed at this point :> what a joke. And this is not a rant btw, i own almost all dlc`s on SnowRunner the game is a blast better than this arcade game coming up. Too bad wasted potential here, i hope you fix this, the game engine and all that is nice, the trucks engine sounds good, just avoid the honk button for now. And hey, if people like the way this game is now, just let them play this in Tourist or Easy difficulty mode.
Good Luck with future projects.:srfueltank:

What we want;
Fuel
Gears
Damage
Better graphics
vehicle upgrades
vehicle editor
Someone driving
Expanding map

What we got:
Little bit of mud
Arcade game
Plastic graphics
No gears
No fuel
No damage model
No editor
No driver

Now I know it's not trying to be Snowrunner 2 but don't show us what you can do with it and then remove it. Newer games should have the same features but improved and new added.

With the editor I'm not sure if that will be in the game or not, but I did love with Snowrunner was the expanding map and you'd plan your trip, maybe add fuel tank for resupplying, these are things which made me play the game for hours. I'm afraid this just feels like a arcade game, just press W with no repercussions.

Saying all this, the game is too far in development for them to add all the things, that us Mudrunner/Snowrunner fans enjoyed.

I'd hope the development team see the community's voice and develop a Snowrunner experience with Roadcraft experience.

Hard mode starts about an hour and fifty minutes into your play time

Definitely. It's going to be a pass at launch without it because, annoying as it may be, I just don't see how the game could be fun without it.
