crane control is terrible for logs

The title says it all, I can't handle this control at all, it should be improved or a simple mode should be added for it... The Rest is great!

It's just as bad as in FS25... I can't handle it. In 15 minutes I didn't manage to COLLECT a log... so what's supposed to be easy or "like that" about it?

Definitely not a fan. I think I could learn using the mouse for those inputs, but I would want the crane to move with the mouse, not have the mouse movement serve as a throttle input for those inputs. I'd prefer keys overall, though, and keep the mouse for the camera. That would also eliminate needing to press LMB the whole time, too. It's just crane mode, but they made it a hold instead of a toggle.

I would also prefer keys without a mouse. And you can change the mode with the keys.

They aren't that bad, BUT, there needs to be a toggle other than having to hold down a button to keep the controls active. If toggled and able to be bound to other keys off the mouse, it should be manageable. I loaded 6 logs in 5 or so minutes.

A camera is also needed on the boom so that you aren't trying to figure out where the log is.

Flight Sim 2025 doesn't even have cranes, and if it took you 15 mins and you still couldn't pick up a log... You have bigger problems than playing a video game.

The controls will take some getting used to but in time I will have it nailed down I think , However Its The camera that's the only real issue for me here

Crane control is terrible in general, IMO. Make the crane winch control separate from the boom. (maybe this is a gamepad only thing, not sure)
I just want to raise the load with the winch, not always lift the boom at the same time.

Having to hold LB is the problem for me. It doesn't make any sense. Single press should lock you into that function UI and pressing again should exit. Like Snow Runner. Far more intuitive than whatever is going on with this UI. I don't rage quit. The Cherry Picker UI made me Rage Quit and remove it from my cart lol. I've run a version of every piece of equipment I've seen so far and they're easier and more intuitive than this config. It feels like aviator controls and you just pounded a handle of rot gut.

These crane controls are going to kill this game if they aren't changed. I thought everything was great up until this point. I tried it both with a controller and mouse and keyboard. Horrible.

Came to the forums to see if there was a toggle I was missing due to how bad this crane is. Disappointed I was correct when I couldn't find one.
