Does anybody know the math behind clan XP?

Does the clan get xp anytime I perform an activity related to a skill? Does it get a set amount of xp for performing an action or does it depend on the level of the action like character xp does?

Alternatively, does clan xp only happen when I gain a new character level?

Yes, the clan gets experience towards a skill whenever you use the skill. The amount is based on how much you get from doing the skill, so higher level activities provide more experience, though I don't know the exact math for it.

It's 20:1. For every 20 exp you get in a skill, the clan gets 1 exp in the same skill.
