Chaotic Core Farming?

Can you farm it via Easy mode or do you need to do runs in Normal +?

The level 3 boss gives 1. The level 4 boss, who requires playing on Normal, gives 2 for a total of 3. The level 5 boss, who requires playing on Hard, gives 4 for a total of 7.

So as you can see, it's technically possible to farm that way but incredibly inefficient.

You also unlock the ability to convert all 3 upgrade materials into each other

There's a system where higher difficulties offers more opportunities to get more cores. But realistically you could just spam 1 chaotic core (on easy mode) and purposely let the run end to restart a new one and speed run it. Just requires you to end your runs as soon as you get the 1st core.
