Key, shield, heart duplication potion

So just found out something kind of cool - this potion doubles and then gives for free, the items in the shop. So if you have a large heart, large shield, and a key ring - you basically get those free with the potion. Another reason to save those and use only in the shops.

Interesting, I usually burn them on gold rooms for the extra cash, particularly if a few gems drop. The store sounds better then that.

However, another really good use is to save it and use it alongside one of the potions that gives you 25% of your HP as money, or just 25% money. Quaff the first potion, then move as the money spews out so yo udon't collect it, then drink the duplication.

Duplicating the shop items is cool, but at MOST you are only getting 39 gold worth of items (three of the 13 gold shields). there are ways to use it for more.

True, but I've had runs where I've just had miserable luck and few to no keys drop, or I get no options for the fountain, and I can't get the relic for shields. So my normal choice is to save the potions, then in the store find one of those "Gives you 25% of coins" and "30% of HP for coins" potions, then use those and the potion in the little side room to just fill the room.
Now I'll just do it in the other rooms, but if I make it to an area and I'm just wrecked - will use it for some hearts/shields/keys.
