Spell Focus question

If I activate this with a chaos core, can I turn it off if I don't like it? It sounds like it means I only collect one spell from a spell room instead of two. I get to choose among three spells which one I want, but I only walk away with one. I dunno, it seems like a downgrade at times since you can get two spells and if they aren't ones you like, just reforge them later, so I'm very hesitant to unlock this and feel like I screwed up my future runs.

cant turn off chaos core choices far as I know....

but spell focus grants you 3 spells to pick from.... and its higher tier at the bottom raises it to 4 spells to choose from....

you still can pick 2 spells.... and there is an upgrade later on in chaos cores to lock in spells if you want... like say out of the 4 spells all 4 are ones you want... lock 2 in and pick the other 2... and those locked ones will always appear till you pick em... you can unlock em anytime if you decide you dont wanna lock em.... its completely free to do so too...

Spell Focus says you only get to pick 1 spell though... is that a typo then?

not sure what your reading that from....

for me when I hover over spell focus in the upgrades menu

it says when picking a new spell choose from a selection of 3....

and the upgraded version of spell focus at the bottom on the same tier... it says choose spells from a selection of 4

so with both of those features I have 4 spells to choose from.... and im able to select 2 of em....
