Are the pillars supposed to move?

I just experienced a scenario where the magic pillars that you summon will fly if you have an accelerator on the wand. That feels very weird.

The speed boost is additive, so making things move when they otherwise wouldn't makes sense.

I understand why it is happening. I'm just stating that it feels like something that shouldn't happen. I can't tell if it was intentional or an oversight.

when you upgrade the pillars they will actually perform attacks. level 2-3 and the two summon double slot spells affect pillars. my favorite with them is to put:
accelerator - automatic navigate - fusion summon - essence of soul - pillar or light
looks like a bunch of busses driving around
