how to break statue and crate?

before some update ago, you were able to break statue and reinforced crate with explosives, mines and that one ability turning into lightning, but no spells i tried works anymore

I’ve been able to use the “Deceptive Mine” spell to break them, meteor might work too, not sure

it no longer works, ive specifically tried it, making sure they didnt bounce off too far but still doesnt break the reinforced crate

Are you referring to the box that has a sheen every now and again? For me, the meteor spell broke it after a couple of casts.

so do they now need multiple hit from explosion before they break? with no indications like slowly deteriorate with each hit?

I assume so? I only thought I'd mention it because I've destroyed them with meteor. That said, my damage was quite high, so I assume it might just be very difficult to destroy them.

well, im asking because in the past its always able to destroy it with one hit, as long as you are using the right spells that can destroy them, and if the spell doesnt support, it wont break no matter how many times you tries, its just weird they suddenly change it to multiple hit without indication if its true
