Neck Stretch disable option
Did the option to disable neck stretching get taken out in this recent patch? I'm not able to find the option to turn it off in the options menu anymore.

Click the icon for the relic on the screen.
Seriously, people in general really need to read update notes. Even just skimming across gets you good info.

I did Skim the patch notes and even did a google search and didn't notice it, before I posted here. All I saw was that there was a change to hide relics and didn't realize that it was specifically for the relics in question. Simple misunderstanding on my part. On a separate note if you didn't want to help, you're not obligated to reply. As I by no means demanded one. No need for the nonconstructive passive aggressive comment. It exudes a sense of superiority for no reason. People don't know what they don't know and humbly ask for help. With that being said Thank you for the info, it was appreciated.

To be fair, this one did at least answer your question before the passive aggressive snipe. Sometimes these kinds of people won't bother to do that at all.

It's like they wanted to feel helpful but were also upset about being helpful.

I disagree. These options are usually in the settings as it was before and clicking on the relicts is not intuitive if you know it. imagine in 2 years somebody plays the game, how should he know to click on the relicts? You will never figure that out. Reading the patch notes? go back all updates in the past to know all hidden features? are you insane?

It says something to the effect of "click to disable appearance" when you hover your mouse over the relic, to be fair. It is entirely reasonable to discover this by accident.

In that case, you would be using the internet to search up the well known changes that have been nicely categorised for just that reason.
And back before that, yes. Thats why games back then used to have patch notes in the main menu of the game. Plus they also had a website for the game with all the information.
Poor example friend, have fun with that rageahol tho.

Ok, so you could of easily had the same moment as myself where you decided to think about it for 2 seconds, hover your mouse over the relic, and see the highlighted text explaining it.
My "Passive aggressive" point still stands. All it takes is a tiny bit of thought and the smallest effort.

Nah, im just jaded and see too many moments where people could of easily helped themselves. Why just give it to them when you could also show them how its easy to do themselves?

Your narrow minded and presumptuous guess reflects allot upon your own mentalities tho.

Turns out, it's to click the relic that causes the graphical change!

(That one's so you can pin it as a helpful answer without condescension.)
