Okay, time to re-write this review.
im absolutely astonished by how good this game is in the EARLY RELEASE.
i have always been and always will be a car guy at heart, and being able to HOOD DUMP MY TURBO CIVIC fills every need i have as a man.

i see nothing but potential. consistently hotfixing issues, adding more content daily, responsive and caring devs. these guys deserve all the support in the world. stop giving ♥♥♥♥♥♥ AAA companies your money for a 1/10 game. support the guys who care about your pockets and theirs.

furthermore, i would love to see active 2 step, launch control, timing, boost by gear, tuning in general, idk how hard it would be to create a mechanic for welding custom pipes etc. again, early release but infinite potential. okay, ill stop now.

THIS GAME IS HIGHLY SUGGESTED TO ANYBODY WHO LIKES TO HAVE FUN!! (10/10 for a early drop. good job guys. i cant even describe how refreshing it is to have a game i can actually grind and not get bored of.)

Quick Review
Goodness me I've stumbled upon some pretty rough diamonds here, pretty good for early access game. Desperately needs more content and cars though, as of now only a handful of old classic japanese cars such as mazda LA2 & LA3, civic EG6 and trueno.

Update: Devs added FD3S. (and another truck but I forgot the name)

Tips

Buy an unregistered EG6 first and foremost; as it's pretty cheap about half of the price of a registered cars (if it's not available at the dealer, go to garage and then go to dealer again, repeat until you get the specific car).
Then sell your early game pickups for extra money. sell all interiors if the car comes with it to reduce weight. Buy a turbo (top mounted would be good) for your B16 and keep it FWD for now as AWD would be quite pricey for early build. Also buy drag tires (15x12 tires and wheels) on the front, buy and adjust the coilover for hardest spring rate (all the way to the right slider) and lower the car height.
Adjust ECU for higher idle RPM and limiter. Then go to dockyard (just north of the garage) and you'll find a 1/2 mile drag race to grind some money, aim for at least below 20 seconds per run, would net you 150k yen each run. Rinse and repeat for easy money.
Ever since the newest v0.032.1 update, the dockyard drag strip was deleted, so you'll have to go to the rooftop drag strip, run through list of AI racers and bet the maximum possible with your money. I recommend at least up to 7th racer as it's still easy AF, bet the max money, rinse and repeat until you save enough money to get AWD build.

This is a really hard review for me to write. I've been following this game for a while and finally decided to snag it for myself out of a craving for some SLRR and street racing games. At this time I've spent 11 hours playing and in that time I have experienced 3 crashes (1 hard crash resulting in a blue screen, 2 soft crashes resulting in the game just locking up and process ending), I have had 4 scenarios where the "Save" button failed to save my progress, And 2 scenarios of the interface locking up and freaking out. The game fails to save my calibration settings for my wheel and every time the game is loaded I have to invert the pedals, set zeros, and dead zones. I spent my last 4 hours grinding and beating all the racers in that time built up a full spec'd AWD drag car and a 2 other cars in the garage. Game decided it was time (mind you i have saved multiple times during this) and got locked on the pause menu with the cursor sporadically flashing on my screen unable to click anything or save leaving me no choice but to alt F4. Reload and what do you know. I'm back where i began from 80 mil all racers beaten to 600k, 2 racers beaten and only half way into building my first car.

Which leads me to this review. I absolutely love this game and the old SLRR gameplay style. Even if the map is as bare as it is and the game in as much of a WIP as it is. But... It is rough and ultimately frustrating. In the 11 hours played so far I've had what can only be described as Frustrated Fun? Some will understand and some won't, But it's a love hate relationship at the moment. I want to keep playing but i dont want to keep redoing everything all over again everytime I launch the game. The wheel physics feel good, but the wheel FFB needs a little more work, Still super fun though. Overall the game "Has Potential" but potential doesnt make a good game. It's not Bad but it's not quite there yet. Excited for it to continue to develop. As far as Recommending this game, I don't know. I'm in between at this very moment, A little more polish and I would smack that YES button 100 times but at the moment I'd say No to the majority of people who just can't handle a rough project.

Please please please do not stop on this game! Massive amounts of potential and there is truly nothing of its kind.

This game has MASSIVE potential, it's the Need For Speed Pro Street we all wanted. Think Car Mechanic Simulator, PC Simulator, Beam NG, Forza Horizon and Assetto Corsa all got together and had a gang-bang, THIS is it's baby. I spent 6 hours just messing around with all the cars, driving and I'm impressed, works well with keyboard, controller and wheel. Awesome customisation and level to detail.

I'm absolutely loving this game so far.

Don't get me wrong, it's nowhere close to worth 20 Canadian Dollars in it's current state. However, the game is and absolute blast to play. In the current state, it's simple and easy to become invested in the vehicle repair and mechanic aspects behind this game. At the same time, the sample of missions and races are fun to compete against yourself for better scores/times. The vehicles that I have tried so far have been absolutely beautiful looking, and the level of detail to their repair is only matched in Car Mechanic Simulator.

The only faults in the game are due to the early access nature of the release. Framerate can be choppy, the map lacks sustenance, and the missions content can only be described as lacking. However, at the time of this review, the game has only been released for just over a week. I'm hopeful that in good time, this project can become an amazing game.

For those who like games such as Forza, My Summer Car, and Car Mechanic Simulator, this game is one to keep an eye out for.
