Car Tune is adding multiplayer in next few weeks. Much more cars inside, many tunning options to make you car faster, better graphics, physics everything. You can tune turbo pressure, camshaft timing, air flow, fuel to air ratio, transmission gear length, tire pressure. Everything affects car performance and you need to know what you are doing.
Here there are two things to tune and every moron can do it.
Looks like someone didn't even bother to try and tune the adjustable parts...
You have steering angle tuning, toe, camber, height, spring rate, idle rpm and limiter, turbo pressure, tire pressure, and some parts on cars can be adjusted such as the pop up headlights and more. But wait let me tell you in case the big 3 banners on the steam page weren't enough for you, it is WORK IN PROGRESS which means more tuning is coming.
Oh and by the way, CTP developer is a close friend of ours and we both help each other as we are not competitors but friends, so enjoy whatever game you want :)
Oh don't worry we are making our dream car game in the first place, it being commercial wasn't even planned at first but either way the development will continue no matter what. However, we had to release due to legal issues with the studio itself otherwise the game wouldn't even be released this year.
That being said, the game is being developed at a much faster pace when we started receiving support and feedback over the last few months (all the cars, races, traffic, and map you see except the EG6 were added over the last 4-5 months), the races we have were added the night before release because it was going to be just a sandbox at first.
Not to mention any other car games but many other famous games released at a much worse state where they didn't even have multiple cars nor economy and they were close to our price range except that they also included DLCs and micro transactions so overall it costed more ;)
Hey man, I really appreciate your game and your efforts. I love the game even though it is a WIP. Cant wait for the saves to be fixed. I know it is a JDM game but some Aussie cars would be sick if thats an option. Cheers. Keep up the good work!
Ehh, I would ignore them, these are kids that have no idea the work that goes into making a game. They're living in an "I want it now" dream world. Keep up the great work, the games off to an amazing start.
Very nice of you to take part in the forums on a daily basis. I just got the game, and sort of ran it thru in some 10 h. I really like these kind of relaxing car games and it all started around 1989-1991 with Street Rod I and II on MS DOS. Lately I think you should take a look at Midnight Racing: Tokyo on Roblox by developer devGem, if you need inspiration. Roblox has of course crappy car physics, but the maps are huge and varying from togue to higways to intense city streets.
I'm certain your game will come along nicely anyhow, and I'll hang around for new updates.
However I have some concerns that might be short-term fixes
Long-term ideas or requests xD
Keep up the good work, cheers!
@ 500+ hp you won't stall starting out in 5th gear
