Cant get my steering wheel to work?

Logitech wheel use it with every game. ive been through the settings menu in game up and down a ton. Not to mention the strange nature of the menu to begin with. anyway, i was hoping it would be acknowledged in an update but i havent seen anything in the last few. and cant seem to find anyone else having issues getting their wheels to work.

also worth mentioning, within the actual calibration settings in the menu i can assign controls and they show that they work in the menu but not in game. there is a slider in the menu to select a force feedback device. but its all blank and doesnt seem to have an affect regardless of the position its in.

Hello, please adjust the FFB device in the game settings till it works. This is a temporary setting that selects which device will receive FFB from the connected devices

awesome thanks. i had tried that as well. but now, there is a new issue where the game just crashes on start up. gets through the intro logos and crashes. no idea. i just want to play so bad

do you have a USB pedal?
if so then please try to unplug all devices and load the game to see if it works

WOW that was it. so you cant have usb pedals. is that going to be fixed soon???

Also having an issue with my wheel. Pedals are acting on the same axis, so with the brake assigned I cannot use the accelerator

Since the most recent update that mentions initialization crashes. Ive continued to try and run the game with my wheel and pedals. Still no luck. Would really appreciate any and all help

there has been a few updates without acknowledgment of the pedal issue. i realize these things take time. but, is this still something that is going to be fixed? still havent been able to play and am passed the refund date for certain.

I believe the issue is not from the game but from the driver/settings of the wheel. Can you please uncheck the "combine pedals" in your driver software and try again?

is that in the game settings or supposed to be somewhere in my wheel software?

in the wheel software, if you have LGS then click on the pedals and then each pedal and uncheck "combine pedal"
But if you use another driver then you might need to google how to uncheck the combine pedal setting for your wheel
Sorry about that and don't worry it will hopefully be solved after that as its not really a game problem and I personally use a G29.

no idea what lgs is. i have a moza wheel. checked all throughout the software and there is no such option. and yeah im using a bit more intense direct drive wheel. and the wheel and pedals are separate peripherals. separate usb ports.
it really is a game issue though as the game doesnt launch specifically when the pedals are plugged in. i wouldnt write it off as something else. as soon as they are unplugged the game launches but the menus and settings menus are very strange and dont seem to function quite right. the options it gives for ffb devices for example show nothing and the layout is not functional. but yeah. i guess ill resort to google to solve this very niche problem.

in all honesty i know there isnt anything you would do for me even if you could but i just want my money back at this point.

i hope youll update here if you find something. as im giving up hope.
