For a dev? ofc they care, it doesn't matter if it's single player or multi player if people don't play the game as it means people don't buy the game. Being sp or mp is absolutely irrelevant in this case. Don't you have better arguments to counter the actual stats? Because are not good no matter how you read it.
IN MY REGION, read carefully.
But we are not talkong about your region so why bother?
Since when a game price is decided based on stram reviews ffs?
Also ya’ll started complaining BEFORE the reviews.
Seriously you don’t even know basics and still are asking for a lower price ahahahaha.
ps witchfire, which I bought TWICE, is far less polished and also have already been in ea for a year on EGS. I didn’t expect it to STILL be released on ea on steam. So I won’t call it “honest”. Enotria is fully playable, in 20 hours I only faces a couple of error fixed yesterday and I had a lot of fun.
To ME this is totally worth the price. And even if I was against the price is not to us to chose lol
EDIT: you don’t like the price?
JUST - DON’T - BUY - IT
This is the ONLY thing you can do as a customer.
Whining on steam forum because YOU find the price unfair because “reasons” is pointless.
This is always the most stupid response you can give, sorry.
If all we do is not buying it then the devs will never know what is wrong with the game. Is it the gameplay? The graphics? The genre? The amount of content? The price itself?
Who knows because all we did was not buying it.
Feedback for the devs is important. If people don't give feedback anymore (if you call it complains or feedback does not matter) then it will ruin games for all of us. And the mixed reviews on steam show that the game is lacking.
I'm happy for you that you enjoy the game but plenty of people do not and I'm sure most of the feedback here would also be a positive for you. (e.g. a lower price)
I don't get why you hate feedback so much.
But to say it with your own words:
If you don't like it
JUST - DON'T - READ - IT
Do you call this post and all the replies “feedbacks”?
LOL
R u for real?
No I didn't. But I see most of the replies complaining about the price which is fair imho. As long as people don't insult or be toxic in general I don't see an issue about giving their oppinion about this.
As I've said feedback is important, even if it sounds a little harsh sometimes.
But what kind of feedback is “hurr durr price big I don’t pay” without even knowing:
- game lenght
- eventual bugs/issues
- quality
?
Since the game is not priced 150€, that could have been concerning, but 45€ that is a fair price nowadays… I don’t understand why bothering.
Hardly they will change the price since there’s no real use in doing that. It is not about weird regional pricing like other games…
So, in the end, I find this kind of feedback pretty useless.
Anyway I won’t discuss it further. You are right, I can not read anymore.
And that’s what I am going to do.
We knew the Demo and quality state the game was in. No amount of content does improve that. And if that is your deciding factor like in my case as well then the price might be too high for you for the quality you get.
And we knew the demo was the state the game would release in.
Except the game at release run miles better than the demo. The enemies and bosses are much better tuned than in demo. So, you either did not play the demo or you are just lying about the state of the game at release. I'm not saying the game is fine, absolutely not, but in comparison to demo the game is in much better state.
45EUR is absolutely fine for a game of this scope and production value at release. I'm sure it will be soon in 30EUR range.
I'm not talking performance or balance. (Didn't have any issues in either of them) I'm talking gameplay.
And that did not change in the slightest.
You are not making any sense. If you played the demo and did not like what it represented, I can not imagine you would buy this game at any price point. Money come and go, time is the most valuable commodity you have and while it is free to spend, it is impossible to get back and it is ultimately a finite resource. Why would you want to waste any amount of time on a game, no matter what price, that you do not enjoy?
The Quality of animations and general feel of combat was lacking, hence I didn't expect the price to be 45€. I personally would tbf not buy it at 30€ which would imo be a reasonable price to release at. I will wait for a sale at around 15-20€ and then maybe I will consider buying it. That is what I'm arguing here.
It's not like I absolutely hate it, I just think it's way jankier than other popular titles in that genre and I will not even think about buying it at a price this high.
I do not mind certain level of jank if the game is fun to play and/or brings some new ideas to the table. Enotria tried to innovate a bit with Mask loadouts changes on the fly but it ultimately fell short. I also like the elemental status effects that have positive and negative effects but the system was way too obscure and imbalanced to be effective--Fatuo/Wicked completely outshine any other element and there is no reason to use anything else unless you are facing Fatuo immune enemy.
However, price is rarely an issue for me as I'm working and can afford to buy whatever game I want. There might be cases where I would simply refuse to buy a product out of principle-PS5pro is good example of this stance-but games are not really in this category.
I feel the price tag they are asking for Enotria is fine, the game is a 6 out of 10 for me and while it is a minor disappointment as I had higher expectations I have spent 25 hours in the game, which justifies the price tag.
