Stuck at Spaventa Gatekeeper (Fatuo) - Bug?

Well im playing this game now for like 20 hours and i really like the game. I have a lot of experience when it comes to Soulsgames but this boss gets me.
my problem here is that when i watch other poeple fight him, he doesnt heal.
When i get hit he heals for like 10% of his life.
I get in there with 13 heals and a +6 gratia weapon that does decent damage to him. I parry most of his attacks but every time i parry he heals for 10 %. When i get hit i lose so much life and he heals again.
I dont get it.

I play as an elementarist build with ike 40 points in Life and 40 Points in elementarist.
Does anybody else have this problem?

Its the first time i think about quiting a game bec. this seems like a bug to me because no one else who fights him has this problem with him healing.

It seems that this is how this debuff of your weapon works. I played with the bell almost the entire game, and it seems to be the most powerful physical weapon in the game. I don't remember where I got it, but even Arlecchino and Pulcinello had no trouble with this weapon.

was gonna say, do not use gratia, its stil bugged, I ended up using a malanno weapon with an elementist type build, this boss is unfortunaltley a low point of this game.

Yeah seems like it. Especially when i see other kill him so easy without him healing.
But what i dont get is how a buged gratia weapon makes it that he heals when i parry him.
Even if i use my max lvl Fatuo ultra great sword on him he heals when i parry.

I feel like something went wrong in the last patch or so.
