Fatal Error: UE-Enotria game has crashed

I have reached Old Docks, Litumnia with only a few random crashes so far.

I'm trying to farm the Gondolier's mask. I have 199/200 shards. Now every time I kill another Gondolier enemy the game crashes. I cannot get the mask because of this. I have tried restarting the game/PC several times. Each time it crashes when I'm about to get the mask and resets to 199/200.

I have also verified the integrity of game files, still the same.

Any suggestions ? I don't care about wearing the mask but this mask is required for a quest. It's the answer to the 3rd riddle.

I also tried to farm this mask at City Commons. Same result. As soon as I kill a Gondolier the game crashes. While trying different things, game also crashed a few times in the Menu, while fast travelling etc.

I give up. It's sad because I was really enjoying the game until this 3rd area Litumnia where the game constantly crashes.

To anyone else facing this problem, here is how I solved it.
I tried everything.

Verify Integrity
Reinstall game
Downgrade the game to older versions

Nothing worked.

Finally, I downloaded a HEX editor and edited the Player_1.sav file. I edited the Gondolier Mask Shards from 199 (HEX C7) to 200 (HEX C8). Upon continuing the game, it automatically granted the Mask.

I really hope the developers can fix these annoying bugs in future.
