How do you solve stamina issues in NG1 and beyond?
I want to finish the game on NG1 and I'm slowly clearing the game. New major issues arose as I moved to Act 2 and Act 3, which is stamina starvation. Enemies have so much HP that killing even normal minor enemy can easily tak 4/5 of my stamina bar. Bigger enemies, such as those knights in Falesia Magna or Axe trolls in LItumnia, will deplete all my stamina and force me to back away to regen it before I can finish them off.

I have invested 35 points into Trickster. I'm using perk that randomly refunds stamina costs of attacks and I also have perk that increases my stamina regeneration when my weapon is infused.

I hate to use consumables to boost my basic stats such as stamina regeneration and the common one are not effective enough anyway.

What is the solution for this problem? Should I ignore Trickster stat and rather dump those points into damage-scaling stat and hope my increased damage output will compensate for less stamina?

Captain Spaventa's mask gives an obscene amount of stamina when fully upgraded. I'd say divest from Trickster until you hit the soft cap (20 IIRC) and put the remaining points into damage stats.

How much is the fully upgraded mask stamina gain? I get 18 stamina at base level, the increase is from 167 to 185, which is negligible.

I can afford to use the mask as I use Highborn mask for increased memoria gain but I can absolutely ditch it for Spaventa's mask.

Like choobs said, Spavemta's mask + aspect of veltha which grants increased stamina regeneration 110%. Also add Sudden Rush from bruiser tree. With some of your attacks will grant your stamina back. As from consumable you can use Verse of Vigor which lasts stupidly long or better version Hymn of Vigor and it's rather cheap too from merchant.

At 20 Trickster the fully upgraded mask brings you from 140 stamina to 210.

Guise of Spaventa is +17.5 stamina every rank after that. As Choobs mentions, should be +70 when its upgraded to +3.

(Unfortunately, at the time of this post, most of the other masks do not increase in effect when upgraded. I wish Highborn Mask did, because that could have been +120% Memoria on Kill, but that's one of the masks that don't change values when upgraded.)

The Sips of the Past item can be handy just before defeating a boss - but limited supply (or at least I haven't kept an eye out on an enemy that drops it IF it is farmable.

And though I'll run into this issue soon enough, there is one perk in Trickster that should let a finishing blow kill the weaker enemies just to take them off the board to focus on the moderate or elite enemies.
