Probably not for me.
Thanks very much for the demo, I really do appreciate when game studios to this.

I gave it a crack but I don't think I'll buy it.
1. The status effects build up way to fast and and last to long.
2. Some of the mobs are to strong, the big guys with maces.
3. There is too much movement when you swing and dodge, like Lords of the Fallen, I fell off a cliff and landed on a ledge, couldn't get back up so I died and lost 6K of the "souls" or whatever the currency is. They were down on the cliff ledge not up top like they should have been.
4. I got stuck in corners a few times.
5. When you go to upgrade a weapon, the one you are using isn't the one shown, its the 1st one in that load out so I upgraded the wrong weapon twice, this was my fault but it would be nice if the weapon you have equipped is the one that lined up for an upgrade.

The game looks amazing, the level design was good (what I saw of it), combat not so much.. I could have been doing it wrong but for example the big guy with the mace right before the 1st boss, took very little damage, I also parried him a lot but his stance never broke, so no critical, he hit like a truck and his shield attack was just BS. He felt like a boss not an elite mob. Skill issue? Probably but I just don't want to spend that long on 1 enemy that isn't even a boss. I know you could just run past him but I don't play games to run past the mobs, at least not on the 1st play thru. I was grinding up some currency to upgrade my weapons and skills when point #3 above happened and I was just so pissed off..

Basically I got annoyed while playing it, rather than having fun and deleted it. I may try again though.

Yeah that giant dude with the mace was a right pain, his very long wind ups then super fast attacks where very difficult to parry though I eventually got the timing down but the biggest issue was that it would sometimes change attack animations mid swing so I'd go for the parry and he'd stop half way then do another instantly and I'd get hit

all status effects not only debuff but buffs too. read carefully descriptions. that's why the lasts so long. or u just clean it up with Line or consumable.

I gave it another go and had a better time. My comments above still stand but I probably will buy it when released or sometime after. Depends on how long Elden Ring DLC keeps me occupied.
